I did this a slightly different way, and still got E. I evaluated the top to get (2)^3 and the bottom to get (3)^-2. So 8 divided by 1/9, which equals 8*9 = 72.

While it took the same time for me solve both ways, initially I overlooked the negative sign and there was an (correct) answer for that too...

Reminds me how tricky the test can be.
