Question: x in terms of y

Comment on x in terms of y

An alternative approach, is to recognize that Y+ the third angle= 180°. or third angle= 180-Y
Hence,
X+22+(180-Y)=180
X+22-Y=0
X=Y-22

Perfect - nice work!

Can we apply the exterior angle theorem here?
Exterior angle equals to the sum of 2 opposite angles. Here y = x +22
Therefore x = y-22

Perfect!

y = x+22, so x = y-22, must be a 300 one
