Question: Cylinder Surface Areas

Comment on Cylinder Surface Areas

I did this a slightly different way and still got answer C of 4K. Since the surface area of cylinder A is = K. Then K= 2πr^2+2πrh. And since the radius of B is twice the radius of A, that means B= the diameter of A. 2r. And B is twice the height of A, then 2πrh(2). I was left with the equation (2πr^2)(2) + (2πrh)(2) = 4K, since 2+2 = 4. and K=2πr^2+2πrh.
