Hi there Brent! My question is, if the values for PR lie in the range of 3<x<9 then it cannot be equal to 3, it has to be greater than 3 by a tiny amount, right? so we can conclude from the given information that infact w >y ! So the answer would be C, if the question stem was is w>y .. correct?

Yes, IF the target question asked "Is x > y?" then the correct answer WOULD be C.
